Challenge
Observing cryptocurrency rates, I identified a local yet hard-to-access price discrepancy in local markets. After a successful test arbitrage transaction, I raised funds and set up the necessary infrastructure (bank accounts, legal entities, brokerage accounts) for local market operations. Legal consultation was sought for legitimacy and tax assistance.
Results
The arbitrage transactions totaled $1M with a profit of $50k. Essentially, it was a profitable yet short-term trading strategy that was effective until the market corrected the discrepancy.
